Trainspotting at York

Been playing around on Newcastle to York modern recently and decided to make a trainspotting scenario. Here are some shots...
A Grand Central HST arrives at the northern end of the station, it passes a Scarborough-Liverpool Limestreet service in Platform 4.

Meanwhile at the southern end a NXEC HST service from Kings Cross arrives at Platform 5.

The previously mentioned 158 service awaits clearance through the station (The Grand Central service is currently just ahead in plaform 3) The NXEC service has now come to a halt.

A bit further north of the station the NXEC service is seen passing a Cross Country voyager, bound for platform 9.

The voyager having now arrived at platform 9.

Two 158 services are seen leaving, the Liverpool Lime Street service on the right, and a Northern Rail service bound for Doncaster.

Not long after the Scarborough Spa special arrives, double headed by DRS class 20's. The voyager can be seen exiting platform 9.

A TPE service arrives from Newcastle, the 20's are now picking up passengers from the station.

The Scarborough Spa is then seen heading off down to Scarborough.

A class 60 is seen on the avoider lines with 4 TEA tankers.

That's all for now, more soon...

Update time, again!

It's only been 3 hours since I last updated, shows you that I will be updating more often! Anyway in those 3 hours I have basically finished Lakeside station, so here are some pictures.
Here is an overview of the line so far, the track to the far left is just track with no scenery.

Lakeside now has a tourist draw, boat hiring! You can't quite see all the boats, there mainly on the other sides.

Of course though, if we have boats they will need to be taken out of the water sometimes, so we have a slipway.

The other side with a 'grid' passing over, a couple of men watch with intrest.

"How long?" The petrol station.

Also we have a new carriage workshop, the wagon workshop is at the terminus station.

Since that picture I've added a signal box, see above.

Also a quick thing for you lot to do, I need a name for the terminus station, please post a comment with a name you think is suitable, there wont be a prize, but you'll know that you helped me out. I will of course chose which one I like best.

Practice makes perfect!

Recently I entered a competition for Railworks, the competition is a route building competition, which will last for the whole of October. So before the competition starts I thought I should get some practicing done. I'm not quite building to the rules of the competition, but it's practice all the same! Here are some pictures...
A 'peak' (Class 45) waits in the new lakeside station.

The lines V2 soon pulls in with the down service.

The Peak has soon set off to the terminus station, it is seen just before it here.

Here it seen pulling in, the lines 101 DMU sits on standby on platform 2.

Finally the Peak rolls to a halt.

That's all for now, more updates soon!

So, I'm in Trainz 2009 now, and I've been having a bit of a play around and I managed to get some pictures, I thought maybe you would like to see them.
A bit of RWS Gordon and Peter Sam talk at Crovans Gate

For a change one of the Tallylyn locos has come to Sodor, Skarloey talks to Rheneas' twin Dolgoch at the wharf.

A bit later we see Peter Sam storming towards Cros-ny-cuirn

Time for TVS, Henry steams past the rather empty yard.

On the other side of the bridge Gordon is having to be saved by Duck as yet again he has fallen in water.

Soon Duck is pushing him to TVS series Crovans Gate works.

A bit further up the line, Sir Handel and George are having another race, lets hope they don't have an accident again.

I'm back!

Finally after about half a year to a year I have fixed my errors with Railworks, Sims 3 and Trainz 09. To celebrate I have purchased a ton of addons for Railworks. It cost me just under 50 quid, but it was worth it! I got myself the Class 37 pack £7.99, the HST buffers £4.99, TEA Tank £4.99, Class 60 freight pack (IWB and YGB) 15% discount to £16.99 and finally the voyager 15% discount to £12.79. Here are a couple of shots of the fabulous Cresston route by Darandio (Darren Porter) my new items.

Cheers Lewis
